Xeris also recognizes that patients with serious or life-threatening diseases may have exhausted all available treatment options and may not be able to participate in a clinical trial. These patients may seek access to investigational medicines, which is a process called Expanded Access (also known as Compassionate Use, Early Access, Special Access, or another name used in the country where the request is being made). If you are a health care professional who would like to make a request for Expanded Access to a Xeris investigational product, please email eap@xerispharma.com. Within this initial request, please include the following information:
- Name and contact number of physician
- Specific compound being requested
- Do not include any information that may identify the patient
